Organizational Leadership - Project Management

 Portfolio

Discover my journey, competencies, and reflections on organizational leadership. I'm glad you're here to be a part of my story.

My core competencies

As a student in the Organizational Leadership program, I have developed competencies that have enhanced my leadership skills in both the classroom and the workplace. These are attributes of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and performance that together make someone an effective leader. The five major competencies that I have selected to showcase in this portfolio are Project Management, Critical Thinking, Delegation, Empathy, and Strategic Planning. These competencies have been fundamental in developing my problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. These are representative of my development as a leader and the application of my learning to practice.

Leadership is not about individual skills but about using multiple skills to achieve a goal. Project Management has taught me how to manage tasks and hold people accountable, and Critical Thinking has helped me understand and assess situations to make decisions. The skills of Delegation and Empathy have enabled me to support and understand the needs of others to enhance teamwork and cooperation. Strategic Planning has provided a broader perspective for setting long-term goals and aligning efforts accordingly. Throughout the different sections of my portfolio, you will notice how these skills intersect and show how I have grown into a holistic leader.

The organizational leadership degree at ASU has profoundly shaped my understanding of effective leadership and project management principles. My growth has been immense.
